chat in the local parks & walking streets around area
This is a new project which aims to develop the following local facilities:
This
project brings together local residents; the city council (officers
and local councillors); our church youth team & other organisations.
This project, commissioned by Coventry City Council and North east Area Co-ordination, was an exciting exercise of local consultation with young people - asking them for their views of how facilities in their community could be improved, instead of imposing ideas from outside.
It looked

The highlight
of the project was the Waslgrave Open Day with many activities
which brought the community together.
After the
consultation exercise, the feedback received was collated into a
report submitted to Coventry City Council for further action.
