I count it a great privilege to be the senior minister at Walsgrave Baptist Church. I’m amazed and humbled at the calling of God on my life to lead the people of God who form the church into the blessings and challenges God has for us over the years to come should the Lord Jesus not return in the meantime.

I have a passion to bring the life-transforming message of Jesus to people living in the north east of Coventry. I am committed to teaching the Scriptures, to bringing Christians into a deeper experience of Jesus through the Holy Spirit, and to Christian mission through Gospel preaching.

I am thrilled with the church’s vision of encountering God through Word and Spirit, of creating a community which conforms to the New Testament model, and of doing evangelism where we break out of the confines of building, tradition, and limited expectations and bless people through preaching the Gospel and demonstrating Christ’s love in practical ways.

The apostle Paul is my hero and he exemplifies a gospel-focussed life. In Romans 1:16, he writes,

I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to (the Greek.

I invite others to join us in the missionary task of reaching north east Coventry with the Gospel and in a Christ-centred gospel adventure.
