Childrens Activities
Children are the future of Walsgrave Baptist Church, and God's work in general. We therefore feel it is vital to ensure that they are included in our teaching, worship and the general life of the church as soon as possible. To this end we have a number of groups for children that cover all ages and take place throughout the week. Brief details are given for each of the groups below, but please call or for further information.

We have a Crèche that runs through most of the service on a Sunday morning, it usually starts when the children go out to Castle gang, please ask someone where it is if you are visiting. There are lots of toys and games for children from 0 to 3 years to play in a safe, supervised environment the child must be brought by a responsible adult and fill in a consent form as part of the 'safe to grow' policy we have here - All leaders and helpers are CRB checked. Children must be signed in and out.

CASTLE GANG meets during the service on Sunday mornings, the children go out to the group part way through the service. In CASTLE GANG we aim to teach children about Jesus, prayer, right from wrong, the Bible and how to grow spiritually. We do this in a fun and relaxed atmosphere using the 'Light Live' material from scripture union. It starts with all the children together for a worship time using many different forms of worship and encouraging the children to try their own. The children then split off into their relevant age groups, we have 'Bubbles' for children aged 3 to school year 1, 'Splash' for children in school year 2 to year 5 and ' The Grid' for children in school year 6 to year 8. |

Tinytots meets once a week, and is a parent/guardian and toddler group. The toddlers have toys to play with whilst the adults can chat, the children then have a drink and some fruit & a biscuit and the adult have a hot drink. There is a small cost of 50p for one child & parent and 25p for each additional child. The session ends with a sing along of new and traditional childrens songs. |

Launch is a multi-activity event for children aged 6-12 (school years 2-7) which meets weekly. Various activities from craft to sports with a fun spiritual section at the end. |
